When you purchase your indoor tub, there are a number of things you will want to keep in mind. First, the tub must be regularly sanitized. As you use the tub, organisms and bacteria could be present in the water. It should also be noted that the indoor tub is not the same as a bathtub. The bathtub is used purely for cleaning ones body, while the indoor tub is used more for relaxation and entertainment purposes.
The exterior portion of the indoor tub is called the spa shell. The surface and interior area will be connected together when the tub is actually being constructed. An indoor tub can be designed in two ways, and this is the rotational molding method and the vacuum forming method. With the rotational method, polyethylene powder will be put on a mold of aluminum, and this mold will be heated and spun around within an oven to allow the plastic to take the same shape as the mold. With the vacuum forming method, a sheet will be put over a mold, and it will be heated with a heater overhead. A vacuum will also be pulled on top of the mold.
